Any Value For Alstott

Postby K-One » Tue Sep 28, 2004 12:47 pm

I'm very thin at RB this week. Does Alstott have any value at least for this week, considering Pittman won't get a HUGE load since it's his first game back?

RB (2) - Alexander, Dunn, Larry Johnson, Ronnie Brown, Stephen Davis
WR (3) - Randy Moss, Andre Johnson, Drew Bennett, Rod Smith, Jason Witten

I think he definitely has value. To my understanding he is fully healthy, and should get more looks. If you are referring to the team you have posted in your sig, drop Julie for Alstott - JJ's worthless at this point anyway.

And just as a look at my responses, Alstott gets picked up...

I'm totally screwed for a #2 RB in Week 4...Right now it is Willis McGahee.

He's sure better than Gordon (out for year). What are you waiting for?

Here's a tidbit from Rotowire, Gruden on Alstott: "Gruden reiterated that Alstott, who missed most of last year due to a neck injury, is healthy, and that there's no physical reason on Alstott's part that stops him from getting the ball more. "

Yet, Gruden likes Pittman, too, so go figure.
... in my opinion, of course - but that should always go without saying.

I only have 2 healthy/non-bye week RBs this week so I just picked up Alstott to start in my flex position
