ahead of him.... Good for you, so do most people... Now, I will contend that Santana, Mason, and Coles put up very similar numbers and it's a crap shoot as to who will do better week to week... But, even if we go with your numbers, that's nine guys, which means you put Coles in the top 10... But, I am only seeing 7 guys on that list that I think you can trust to be consistently better than Coles week in and week out...

My thoughts exactly. I know we're not supposed to rip on other posters here but it's a pretty moronic thing to say none the less.
Coles has Top 10 talent in the right system and team. Heck, if he were still on NYJ and didn't have the foot injury he could be Top 5. He's that good.
However, he does have the foot injury but that's not really the issue. Brunell SUCKS. I thought the change of scenery might revive his career but he looked HORRIBLE at times and I'm used to watching Harrington play so I should know horrible when I see it. In the first three quarters (before I went to bed) there were no less than 5 times I thought Gibbs would yank Brunell. I guess it takes more than that for a proud coach to admit that he vastly overpayed a has-been. Also, Gibbs is taking Coles out in the red zone in 1 WR sets in favor of Gardner probably due to the size.
Coles didn't help himself with the drops last night but I consider that an abberation. He is NO Bill Schroeder! Worst thing about those drops is that they masked just how terribly Brunell is playing and thus kept him in the game that much longer.
ugh... it's frustrating as I plan to offer Coles up for trade as soon as he strings together a few good weeks and THIS would have been the week had he not dropped those balls and gained an extra 3 inches to get into the endzone!!!!

How about some reasoning and an articulate explanation for WHY you think Laveranues Coles "stinks." An opinion without a justification from an anonymous newbie is about as useful as a syphilitic tick...
He refuses to go over the middle (he's a wuss). He's too short. Lenny Walls (giant DB) will outjump him. He's gimping it up with that foot injury. Brunell has lost it. ETC!
About calling him a wuss, did you see the shot he took from Roy Williams last night? He was out for a series. You would have been in the hospital. Got that KT? I am tired of all your garbage. Calico better then Coles? What are you thinking? Calico hasn't played a snap this season.
