Vikings' running back Onterrio Smith will finally have the appeal of his four game suspension heard later this week. Smith was found to be in violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy. "Our anticipation is that it won't go the way we want it to go" coach Mike Tice told the St. Paul Pioneer Press on Monday. "So again, it's another player we're going to move on without."
These suspensions are never reduced so look for Smith to be gone from weeks five through nine. The Vikings, who have a bye this week, expect their normal starter at running back, Michael Bennett, to start in week five against the Texans.
