I believe the only way Price will become valuable again is if Vick stops thinking about running first and throwing second. Sure, Peerless probably isn't exactly getting open as often (that's not what he says though) but Vick looks up and sees little, and then just takes off.

The guy needs a little more patience. Hell, is his O-line that bad that he has that little time?

Yes it is... but he should still try throwing occasionally.

Like it has been said, if Vick doesn't throw the ball more, Peerless Price will be a massive bust. I think the best thing that can happen is for him to go to a team that throws the ball more.

Price IS Leon from the ESPN commercials. He hasn't been open all year and Vick wouldn't get the ball to him if he was open. I'm an Atlanta fan (born and raised if there is such a thing). Don't count on these guys for much, it's almost like they aren't really playing football.

Peerless should benefit from the west coast offense, but with the person who's throwing...correction not throwing...the ball, he won't get many opportunities

And that is the name of the game IMO B-)

I just dropped Peerless Price for the best WR available on the waiver wire in my league, unfortunately that was Brandon Stokley. But I think an injured Stokley in the Colts' offense is better than a healthy Price in the Falcons' offense.

Price sucks, that's all there is. He's never open, and he drops balls. White gets way more balls, because he gets open, and goes over the middle. Price sucked last year, and nothing has changed. He's a #2, but he's not playing againt #1 CBs and he's sucking. Dump him, 3 pts a week, yay!

I disagree... I don't think Price sucks. I do in fact think he is a pompus jerk... who needs to shut his mouth, and reminds me strongly of another wide receiver who had a good QB but still complained about his skills... who then was traded to a team fairly and b*tched about it endlessly until he got his way... but i digress.

I still have Price on my fantasy team... by number three Wide Receiver (in an eight team league). I have been... less than happy about his preformance thus far. But I wouldn't recommend dropping him just yet. Wait a little while longer, and maybe Vick can learn to throw every now and then.

But if you get a good offer, accept without turning back. ;-D

Is the Price right?

Postby fantasy messenger » Wed Sep 29, 2004 2:54 am

Price has had one good year, period. Two years ago Moulds, Price, and Bledsoe jelled. Travis Henry was also awesome. This is a perfect example of a one-year success. It's too bad that Peerless left Buffalo when he did and went for the money. He is an average receiver at best. He was in a great situation and blew it.
