STUDs=must start every week???

Postby gatorman1122 » Wed Sep 29, 2004 12:34 am

Need some input from fellow members about some studs at various positions that you MUST start every week (unless there's a bye of course) regardless of the matchup. Thanks in advance :-B

QB = Culpepper, McNabb

RB = Priest, LaDainian

WR = Owens, Moss, Holt

D = Patriots, Ravens

To be honest with you... those are the only guys I put in the must-start every week category...

I don't put Manning and Harrison in must-start status. If I had Manning and Harrison against New England or Baltimore and decent backups, I would bench Manning and Harrison. Maybe that's just me.

It always matters what your scoring scheme is, but in my league of 12 teams (1 pt/20yds passing, 6pt/TD), you must start Peyton Manning.

Anyway, what Portisfan said.

Barring injuries:

QB- Culpepper, Manning, McNabb
RB- Priest, LT, Green, Deuce, Alexander, Portis, Edge, J.Lewis, Faulk, C. Brown
WR-R.Moss, Harrison, Owens, Holt, Ward, C.Johnson
TE-Gonzalez

These are the guys I insert into my lineups no matter which opponent they are facing. IF I have additional starter spots open, then I begin to look at matchups.

Unless you have another top 5 QB and WR to start in their place, these two guys should always be in your lineup.
