Forgive me if things have changed signifigantly this year, but isn't Tampa DEF traditionally known for getting torched by big, straight ahead runners while dominating scat backs? I'm not saying you should bench Griffen, I just think this is worth considerring.
Edit: In your case, with your team, you have to start Griffen. I'm just not sure how confident you should be in him.

Can I see your projection formulas so I know how you predicted this? The Chargers made Plummer beat them, and he did. The Chargers aren't terrible against the run, as Plindsey pointed out, while TB gave up 100 yards to Tyrone Wheatley. Griffin should be good.

^^Yep, TB has a very fast, but small, defense. Big bruisers running up the middle tear them up, but scat backs usually end up doing most of their dancing in the backfield.
As a Griffin owner, I'm just hoping he gets a cheap 1yd TD sometime along the line.

Alot of it has to do with the opposing offensive line, too. If Denver's line can open big holes in the front four, Griffin will do fine, he won't need to dance until he gets into the secondary.

Even here though the Denver O-line isn't the right "type" of O-line for beating Tampa. The TB can be pushed around by big guys, Denver's o-line is one of the smallest in the NFL, they're renowned for their speed in getting to their blocks and such on counters and upfield, but that's not the style that runs well on Tampa.

I agree with this. I think this is a bad match up for Griffin. I am benching him in leagues where I have other (viable) options.
Generally, straight ahead downhill runners fare better against Tampa's defense. Change of direction backs like Griffin get clobbered by Tampa, so I wouldn't expect much out of Q-tip. It's looking grim for Griffin owners, and with Carolina looming next week, it's doesn't get any easier.
