Miami Running Backs?

Postby noyz » Wed Sep 29, 2004 10:30 am

I heard that Miami signed Brock Forsey and Leanord Henry will start this week. Who will emerge as the starter or what will happen? Will they get Larry Johnson? Let's start a talk regarding the Fins.

doesn't matter who they get...who starts, etc. The O line stinks.

Does Fiedler change anyones thoughts on starting the Jets against them whis week. He may be more helpful to Chambers in my mind. But not much

I heard Larry Csonka practiced this week too.

Stay away from Miami on your FF team. McMike might even lose some looks. Wait and see on Chambers, too risky this early.

I think the Miami RB situation is awful no matter how you look at it.

I have minor and I am keeping just to see what happens, but he may go soon.

I am thinking of picking up the Jets D just for this game. My current starting D are the Dolphins, so not sure what to do.

Let me claify my question. Yesterday everyone was high on starting the Jets vs Miami this week. Does Fiedler change any opinions, I wouldn't think so but just wanted to be sure.

No - the Jets are still one of the best fantasy Ds to start in week 4.

I am not sure why anyone would bench McMike right now - he leads all TE's in yards after 3 games. He is clearly the leading reciever for MIA both in yds and receptions - hell - he's almost doubled Chambers in yds, his YAC are more than anyone else's on MIA, and he obviously is there go-to guy in important downs - doubling the next closest player in 1st downs. I cant see how McMike isnt considered a top 3 TE right now - whos better?

Your right, I should have differentiated that better. I meant to say: Don' tstart any miami players.....except McMike, but understand that he might lose some looks.

I agree totally that McMike is always a start unless you have abetter option, which, since TE's are so depleated, that scenario would be hard to believe....

See my desperate post on Meier and Troupe in Ten.

As much as I hate to say this....again.....it doesnt matter who Miami gets at RB at this point. They will probably end up just like Gordon because they will get hammered as soon as they touch the ball. Switching back to Fiedler is not going to save Wandstadt. Again the Q has little time to throw the ball. I hope they finally decide to get rid of this coach. I didnt like him in Chicago and have never liked him in Miami.
