Do you guys feel it's still to early to pick up Eli Manning?

I play in a 8 team H2H keeper league (keep 3) and right now I have Pennington and Harrington as my QB. Since Pennington bye week just passed I was thinking up dropping Harrington and picking up Eli. I don't need to decide my keepers until a couple of weeks before the season starts so I figured I could let him ride on my roster and possibly use him as trade bait. We have a DL in my league so if Pennington got hurt I could always pick up another QB. My other choice would be to select Palmer.

Any thoughts?

Drop Harrington for Eli? Harrington is what Eli Manning hopes to be some day - successful in the NFL. Don't drop him, that's for sure.

No way I'd protect Eli in a Keeper that is only 3 deep. Will Eli go in the first three rounds of your draft next year if it wasn't a keeper? Probably not.

Agreed. Not being biased whatsoever, but Harrington will be eating Eli's dust in a few years if he doesn't improve his skills now.

I wouldn't bother with him since you only get 3 keeps. I don't think anyone would trade for him either for the same reason.
