Yeah... why add Dallas? It's not like they were the number one overall last year after starting slow... forget THEM.

How is that determined? Yds allowed? Points allowed? Turnovers? Because from a fantasy perspective, they didnt finish in the top 5 last yr in standard leagues.

Tampa is still definitely a top 10 defence IMO. They may have lost a key guy or two along the way, but they still have excellent defenders and the system is still in place.
Respect Stevie McNair. Bow down to the pouch.

I have read this whole thread and most feel they are still a top 10 but does that mean you play them as your team defense regardless of matchup?

I don't think so. Would still pick a better matchup over them. The debate is whether they are worthy of a roster spot. And if they are #10 or higher, I would say yes.

absolutely not. I would still play matchups if I had NE or BAL as my D. Granted I wouldnt bench them very often, but the point is that ALL teams, regardless of how good they are defensively, have bad matchups on occasion. TB is no exception - I see about 6 games remaining on their schedule where I would either bench them outright or look to see if there were better matchups available off the WW.

Just did a bit of research and saw that whoever played TB in the first 3 weeks finished in the top 5 for fantasy Ds for that week - with one exception: last week OAK finished 7th.

This could be an indication of the level of competition they have faced, or it could be an indication of the problems they are facing on offense, but probably both of those things are combining. The point is, TB might be a team to target for their offensive ineptness if you are looking for weekly matchups.
