Anyone have any news on this guy. Last I heard he had a shoulder contusion and would evaluate him throughout the week but have not heard anything since.I am guessing he will play (since practically every NFL player has a shoulder contusion of some sort) but if he doesn't, Lewis' value really goes up.
I don't really think Lewis' value goes up. The main offensive targets are T.O. and Westbrook anyway, so I wouldn't expect a huge shift in stats for Lewis if L.J. is out.
Two key Eagles, offensive guard Jermane Mayberry and tight end L.J. Smith, are listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Chicago. Both, along with linebacker/special teams ace Jason Short, missed Wednesday's practice. However, head coach Andy Reid said during his Wednesday morning press conference that he expected both Mayberry and Smith to at least have a chance to play against the Bears.
