Bledsoe, at 32, hasn't lost his skills, but he's being asked to do things he hasn't been used to doing in his 10 year career. Sam Wyche was brought in coach him as QB coach and he has been needing to work on his release being quicker and making faster decisions to make up for the deficiency of the line, which just plain isn't very talented. His only viable WR is Moulds, who is in his 30's now. The offensive scheme the team seems to be running doesn't call on the long ball much, but lots of 10 yard out patterns, which is why Lee Evans hasn't been very involved in the offense. The offense is meant to be vanilla, low risk and not meant to lose the game and will not likely be pretty to watch. That's not Bledsoe's forte. Maybe things will begin to click and gel a bit. It would be hard not to improve upon his numbers, but it won't happen this week against the Pats.
