the tatum bell effect

what are the chances that tatum bell takes over for quentin griffin sometime this season (barring injury to either) - or is the more likely worst case scenario for QG that they will split carries?

There are appr. 100 threads on this topic, already... The consensus opinion is:

No one knows...

Shanahan is standing by Griffin for the time being, and I haven't seen anything out of Bell that would win him the job outright, so I'd have to go with QG until something changes, but if I owned Bell as a backup to QG I would hold onto him....

T. Bell has probably missed more practices than has been at. He seems to be very injury-prone.

I think DEN is going to stick w/ Q. There is no way they will hand the starting job to someone who fumbles as much as Griffin and worse yet is hurt every other day. My guess, is if Griffin continues to struggle there will be several guys carrying the ball and Hearst would see more action than Bell
