Browns: Couch and Holcomb wage minicamp battle

The battle for the Browns' starting quarterback
gig heated up during minicamp last week.
According to Thursday's Akron Beacon Journal,
neither Kelly Holcomb nor Tim Couch established a
firm lead in the competition, however Holcomb
appeared to be throwing more
interceptions-possibly as a result of his
aggressiveness.

Views
Earlier this month, head coach Butch Davis
indicated that the job was Couch's to lose. We
believe Holcomb is the better man for the job and
would post fatter stats, as he did when given the
chance last year, especially during their playoff
game against the Steelers. That being said, Davis
won't tolerate too many turnovers so Holcomb will
need to be careful not to let his risk taking
become a problem.

bah...butch told em to be aggressive and take risks...thats what kelly's doing. an int happens every now and then. Couch is still sitting behind center askin the defense not to run at him so fast next time while kelly is trying to make things happen.
