FROM ROTOWIRE:
Sep 30 Curry, a former college quarterback at the University of North Carolina, took some snaps at quarterback Wednesday and will serve as the emergency quarterback Sunday against the Texans, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Recommendation: The Raiders are considering signing another quarterback, and we don't expect this to be a long-term solution with Rich Gannon out with a neck injury.

I was thinking about picking him up for a spot start this week for Kennison, but if OAK is going to have him as their backup QB is that going to limit his playing time??? (Not wanting to risk injury)

I can plainly see people are reading the post, but I find it hard to believe that in in forum of all chiefs and no indians no one has an opinion.

Simply put, will the fact that Curry is the back up QB this week effect his potential playing time this week b/c OAK won't risk injuring him?
