The real answer why Coles could not catch

He dislocated his finger and and then put the joint back into place himself, and refused to come out of the game. Maybe he should have come out, but Coles is a man

Redskins: Coles pops back after finger injury
The News
Monday Night Football viewers may recall a first quarter collision when Cowboys' safety Roy Williams left Redskins' receiver Laveranues Coles shaken up. Coles missed one series before returning to the game, and we believed that Laveranues was simply clearing his head. However, head coach Joe Gibbs revealed the tale of a dislocated finger on Tuesday. "I saw it, one of our coaches saw it, and that's it," Gibbs told the team's official web site. "[Laveranues] put his finger back into place, puts the glove back on and never said a word to the trainers. Those are the kind of things that are good to say because it's behind the scenes."
Our View
It's not quite Ronnie Lott, but fantasy owners wondering why Coles had some issues catching passes later in the game now know that Laveranues was battling an injury. Coles may show up on Wednesday's injury report, but we fully expect him to play against the Browns on Sunday.

not if he cant catch, its always cool when a guy sucks up his pain, but theres no point in staying in if youre hurting the team, as he was.
