and non-Tenn fans alike.......I need your opinions on the Tennessee Defense. They were great in week 1 but not so much in 2 and 3. I haven't been able to see them play personally b/c I don't get their games out here. There's some good D's (fantasy-wise) on the wire that I'm debating about picking up........namely Atl, NY Giants, etc. I'm just looking for insight into how they may perform the rest of the year. I realize the D may be sputtering due to inefficient offense and poor QB play, so do you think the offense will turn it around to help the D out? Any input appreciated.

Tennessee Titans vs. Chargers: The Titans' defense knows the deal. If Steve McNair misses this week's game because of his bruised sternum, it might be up to them to beat the Chargers. Of course, beating the Chargers shouldn't be too much trouble for them even without McNair. How do you contain LaDainian Tomlinson? With one of the top run defenses in the NFL. With L.T. held in check, Drew Brees will be forced to throw…and that's when things get ugly.
Key Stat: Brees has been picked off five times in his last three home games.


looks like they're good for this week. There's just a lot of other D's out there on the wire (probably in most 10 team leagues) that seem to have a lot of value right now.

Tenn's defense is one of the better defenses... right on that border where you question if they should start every week or be situational. It all depends on McNair/Volek though... I would recommend keeping them on the back burner... wait a week or 2... or 3...
