Is this a good trade?

My team looks like this:

QB - Brooks, Carr
RB - Alexander, James, Dayne
WR - Harrison, Hakim, McCardell
TE - Conwell, Jones
K - Akers, Rian
DT - Chargers, Eagles

I want o try to improve QB and WR

I proposed this deal to a friend and he agreed:
Brooks, Hakim, McCardell for Manning and Rod Smith

Is this a good trade; If i do this then i will have Manning, Harrison, and James all from IND and in IND bye week i will be screwd over.
I would have 1 less player in the WR position and i could pick up a free agent (Choices are: Ward, Walker, Galloway, Randle El, Bradford, Morgan)

Another possibility is for the guy to trade Manning for Favre and then me take Favre instead of Manning but Favre isn't as good but i wouldn't have all three strong players from IND.

dude, your friend is a frickin idiot... take the trade (with peyton)... and try not to laugh so hard when you have the championship and hes in last place.

u will lose week 4, but think about it this way: u will have them all together every other week. the value u r getting is just to good to pass up. ur team will be incredible.

Ok that is what i was thinking...but should i go with the Favre Formula?

And is my team good as it is right now?
