I haven't seen anyone post this yet, but I saw the quick blurb on ESPN News earlier today. I guess he banged up his knee pretty bad. I don't know if this is Belichek just screwing with the media again, or if it's for real. Sucks for me because now I'm not going to start him!!!

i saw the same thing - i was actually able to pick up givens on waivers earlier this morning, so this news is good for me

NE is notorious for not letting people in on what the hell is going on - example.. watson - hopefully branch won't have a similar fate

That stinks... I personally don't have him but I'd like to know what's going on with him if I did.

Looked like he was due for a big year from the first game, hopefully he can continue the trend when he comes back.
