Any news on Chris Chambers?

Postby robbykrieger » Fri Oct 01, 2004 1:06 pm

I'm starting Torry Holt and Donte Stallworth this week, and have to decide between David Givens and Chambers.

Any news on Chambers's knee?

I still haven't heard any new developments...I think we should know more before gametime. Givens against Buffalo isn't the best start in the world but it's better than a DNP.

WQAM in Miami reports Chris Chambers will not play Sunday because of a knee injury.
We'll wait for official confirmation, but Chambers is no longer a fantasy option this week. The loss of another weapon hurts Jay Fiedler, Marty Booker, and Randy McMichael this weekend.

This just in, "HE SUCKS!"-UNDEFEATED

I actually see his numbers crawling up a bit, with the obvious return of Fiedler.

Harvey Fialkov, The Sun-Sentinel - As if the Dolphins needed another missing piece on an offense in disarray, standout WR Chris Chambers likely will miss Sunday's game against the Jets. Chambers hasn't practiced all week because of tendinitis in his knee. Coach Dave Wanndstedt said he is a game-time decision. According to a source, Chambers consulted several different medical opinions before apparently deciding not to play.

this just in *updated* reported on AP "he still sucks!"

sorry guys im a bitter chambers owner.

if you are considering him you must be thin at WR like me.

seriously, without a running attack miami offense has become 1 dimensional...i would say zero-dimensional...but im not that mean. it hasnt taken very many players to stop the miami running game allow opposing defenses to fall back into the passing routes.

entire miami team is a fantasy graveyard :-t

agreed... I dont want to touch anyone in miami (well... maybe mcmike and the D) but with baltimore's 1-D offense last year (1st rushing, 32nd passing), they still made a (short) playoff run. Maybe with Fiedler back, and McMike, Booker and Chambers, they could get something going in the air.

But next season, think about it. If Miami keeps all their receivers, they'll have Marty Booker, Chris Chambers, Randy McMichael and David Boston. It sounds... well... scary.

As a Chambers owner in one league, this hurts a little. On the bright side, I am playing the Jets DEF in both leagues ;-D .
Basically, the Miami OFF is so bad at this point, even a talent like Chambers is easily replacable.
I am so smart. S-M-R-T
