How could the NFL thinks it's ok to profit off Pat Tillman's name and use his name & #40 to adervtise and promote the NFL but then turn around 1 week later and say the same exact patch they had used the week before for their own gain,is now no longer acceptable and is bad for the game?

Great point.

The NFL is just being dispiciable here. Their audacity with worthy tributes (this one above all others) is only superceded by their exploitation of Tillman. At first I thought the tribute to Tillman (especially with the classy tearing Cardinal banner) was quite a respectable tribute for a hero. Now, its been exposed as the sham it really was.

The same thing is happened to Derek Smith of the San Francisco 49ers. Except I think he stopped wearing it after he was fined the first time.

If Plummer is a baller he'll stick it to the man and keep wearing it. Go Jake! Fight the Machine!

Plummer said he won't pay the $5,000 a game fine to wear it.
