Stephen Davis

Since we are talking about running backs, what is the take on Stephen Davis? Was last year just a fluke? Or, will he return to the monster output of past years? How is Spurrier's offense going to effect him?

I want to believe that Davis isn't done. But, I don't think he's going to return to previous years numbers. I still think he's a top ten running back. What's anyone else think?

Davis' TD's were down last year but outside of that, he had a career year yardage wise. I also have Davis on my roster and my problem is not with him but with Steve Spurrier. I just don't see his offense moving the ball downfield through the air. Without that, Davis will have a whole mess of 2 and 3 yard gains. I think he's good enough on his own to put up 1,200 yards but, unless this team has a passing game, I don't see his TD's getting back to where I'd like them to be.
