Kevin Jones: Bust or sleeping stud?

As far as whether or not he will explode when he returns from injury, i'm going to have to say no. The injury will hamper him when he comes back, he's going to still be sharing carries with Pinner, and the even when K.Jones is averaging 6 yards a carry, he's still going to get 15 carries max. If he was the focal point of the offense he could explode, but Mooch's system is pass oriented.

Jerome Bettis, Clinton Portis, Edgerrin James, LT2, Curtis Martin, Eddie George, Deuce McAllister, Eric Dickerson, Earl Campbell etc., etc., etc. were all studs as rookies. In fact, depending upon how they are used, they are the rookies most apt to be successful.

Yes, they were studs as rookies, but I bet fantasy people weren't drafting them counting on them to be studs. Deft said that you can't really expect a rook to be a stud, not that a rookie can't be one.

Why not? There's nothing to lose because you have an open roster slot. Plus you can just put him on the DL.

What have you got to lose?

You can definitely do worse...

I traded Henry and Jones for Taylor 2 days before KJ got injured. KJ was my #5 RB anyway. How do you guys think I made out?

I think you made out decent...

Taylor has a ridiculous schedule in the next 5 weeks or so, that i can run for 100 and 1 against

Henry has been underperforming and KJ is in an RBBC from reports I hear and see...
