It seems to me that he doesn't fit into Gibb's running game.
He is more of a hit the hole cut and go, and Gibb's seems to run more misdirection/draw/other slower developing runs (from what i've read/heard) where he cant get up field fast enought to utilize his speed. Or maybe Washington's line isnt good enough to open any holes...
havent seen a Redskins game yet.
I realy am worried about his potential this year....
What do ya all think?

I'm not sure... I was worried about Washington's o-line... so I steered clear of Portis this year. Maybe he'll produce... I dont know. But he's a wildcard.
yeah in this 10 man league I'm in i stole him for dominick davis and rudi johnson now I have him Vick,Tomlinson,Randy Moss, and Shockey to go with my invinceable offense lol.

That's the key. This is what Gibbs is known for. He might have the stellar #'s of the last couple seasons, but I think Portis will get more and more productive throughout the season as Gibbs learns to properly use him.
Regardless of what changes Gibbs makes, there's no way he's going to hit the 1,500 yard 15 TD mark again. He might get the 1,500 rushing, but 15 TD's is looking awfully hard to come by at the moment.
