I could not for the life of me figure out WHY Joe Gibbs ran it up the middle 6 times on the goal line vs the Cowboys. It looked pretty clear that those plays were doomed even before the ball was snapped.

It almost seemed like Gibbs was thinking 'I've got to run it up the middle' even though some type of option things involving the receivers in spreading the D appeared to have been more successful for them farther up the field. I am hoping that that was just an anomaly and that the Skins are simply cursed by the Cowboys but, to me, it looked like some seriously boneheaded playcalling on Washington's part.
