Steve Smith-- worth a pick up?

Postby mad benjamin » Sun Oct 03, 2004 5:32 am

Someone just dropped Smith in my league. That I know of, he hasn't been ruled out for the season but was ruled as "out indefinitely". His prognosis didn't sound great, but does anyone have an idea as to his recovery or whether or not he'll be back or have any kind of effectiveness when he returns? If he seems worthwhile, I'd consider picking him up, but delay it for a few more weeks.

don't waste your time or a roster spot on smith. if boldin is still available, and you have a roster spot, you might wanna nab him. i'd trade him though right before, he gets back. arizona's pass protection looks terrible right now. mccown has no time to throw.

Someone else nabbed Boldin (drafted him, actually). I doubted Smith's value, but wanted to get an idea. Thanks, guys.

i want to pick him up in one of my keeper leagues but space is limited. there is a lot of time left before the end of the season and i dont think i can afford to delete a bench spot.
