Gotta go with PFW for the mags. Why not print out some lists from the internet and save yourself a few bucks.

Not that I'm condoning anyone's rankings but find a list and adjust it to your liking.

OH...BTW...the FFcafe is a great sourece for FF info...in fact...it's the best.

These guys will never steer you wrong, unless,of course, you're in their league.Hehe.

Yep. I'm going Pro Football Weekly as well.
Used it for a long, long time.

The thing I like best, and something I look at before submitting my lineup each week, is the stats that show how a player has historically done against the team he's playing that week.

Sometimes a player simply owns a certain team.
Sometimes, he always seems to have his worst game.
I've found this REAL handy info over the years.

Thanks all. I'll check into the Pro Football Weekly. Again, it's nice to read and helps ease the pain of waiting most of the summer for football season and for my fantasy baseball team to secure a playoff spot.

I agree with most that you can get info off of the web and magazines then form your own opinions after you have all of the info. One magazine that I quite enjoy is fantasy football weekly (http://www.fanball.com) Some of their writers are good (rkamla) some not so great. The info they give is usually pretty in depth. Mostly very knowledgable FF like those here at the CAFE

Gotta go with Fantasy Football Index. I've been reading that one for a long time. It has been around since we had to look in the newspaper for our stats. But in this day in age I'd have to go with just using the net.

Have every magazine issue since 1995. Definitely a good one. One thing I would like to see, however, are box scores from the previous year's playoff games. And maybe a team roster with age, college, year's experience, etc. And some coupons for some free beer.

I usually buy 3 to 4 mags a year, before the season starts. It just adds to my fantasy football addiction. I like PFW, but am a HUGE fan of The Sporting News Fantasy Guide. I've used that the last 3 years. Just becareful, because as great as the mag are when you are on the subway or at the draft...the most useful and updated info comes off the web.
