TIme to trade T. Jones?

Postby thebigsmooth » Sun Oct 03, 2004 5:02 pm

I wonder if I should trade Jones or hold on to him. Without a QB threat I think teams are just going to load up against the run. Right now hisstock is high and I 'm wondering if I should take advantage of it. Any thoughts. I would be happy to help you out as well.

T Jones

I would hang on to him. At least for one more week. The Eagle defense is underrated. We're talking Kearse and Douglas. Let him dissapoint one more time before you give him up.

Yep, might as well trade Chris Brown too. Or Ahman Green. Go get TJ Duckett. Jeez, one bad week for the NFC leading rusher and time to jump ship?

I read RotoWorld saying if you can get top 12RB value its time to trade him. I almost fell out of my chair.

1. If you are in a league like mine that gives 1pt per rcp he can be a monster.

2. Philly D is underrated

3. I am saying right now that TJ will be one of the top 4 RB this season.

Jones' schedule's pretty damn good. I'd be hesitant to let him go without anything of even value in return.

The time to trade him was last week. ;)

Seriously though, he's one of those guys that will be really tough to trade. With no past history of success, everyone will be wary of his ability to continue putting up good numbers.

Coming off the rough weekend v. Philly and with a bye coming up, his trade value is probably pretty low. Which may be good for you. Hang on and reap some benefits.

He was on my sell high list last week, and I'm damn glad I didn't have him, because I wouldn't have followed my own advice, and I'd be sitting on his plummeting stock just like everyone else...

Thomas Jones owners - welcome to the world of the Fred Taylor and Travis Henry owners... Just waiting for that huge game to make a deal...
