Redskins... OVERRATED!!!

Has anybody else noticed this? The Redskins seem like the have the most talented lineup after signing people like Mark Brunell, Shawn Springs, and Clinton Portis. Although they still can't win with all that talent. I'm going to guess and say that they must have the sorriest O-line and D-line in the NFL, because we all know where football games are won and lost; it's in the trenches.

It pisses me off too, because in Madden 2005 the Redskins are like a 99 overall team, I think. I think this just proves that you can have the best team on paper but without the big guys pushing up front, you got nothing.

Offseason: Redskins sign a ton of bigtime FA's and/or coaches.
Season: Redskins still suck.

Hasn't this happened like the last 6 years now? This is nothing new badger...

Gibbs may be one of the greatest coaches to ever participate in the game. His return was one of the chief reasons the Skins got so much praise, but Gibbs can't play for his guys.

Even with my Eagles bias I expected the Redskins to start off better. Perhaps its the high turnover of players their organization has, that they don't develop a team atmosphere, who knows. But I certainly wouldn't consider them pushovers just yet, though they need some big wins now to make a playoff bid.

Gibbs was a great coach, but he has been out of it for 11 years, it's a new game. It's too early to say it's another mistake, but it will definitely take time for Gibbs to adjust to the league. Depends on what kind of patience Snyder has.
