Yeah this is two weeks now where there is a matchup that every website picks as their "break out/can't sit" player. CBS both weeks. First they pick Vick to explode against the underrated Cards D. . Then this week they pick Barlow .

In a lame defense of Barlow's performance... last night he was 2 feet from a touchdown when he got sacked. Had he got the TD, he would've been at 20 ff points (in my league, anyhow).

Maybe the chips are just falling poorly for him? Hopefully...

I also got worked on that play. I lost by 13. I can't believe Barow couldn't get me 14 points. And if they hadn't given Jackson all those carries I would have won as well.

As long as the SF offense is that bad and they are playing down 3 scores or more, they just aren't going to use him enough for him to be effective.

Come to think think of it, the Chargers havent looked all that bad at all on offense. Drew Bress to Reche Calwell... who knew?

Guys, I agree that Barlow is playing poorly to what most expected, but thats no reason to indefinately bench him for the rest of the season.

Look at his stats this year:

254 rush yds, 2 TD's
86 rec yds
1 fumb

=

44 Fantasy Points


Yes, I understand those aren't ideal stats you want to see from your #2 RB, but thats 11 points a game. You could say thats only one good game, but give him some more time. 11 pts a game ain't bad.

BTW, Barlow has had over 90 combined yds in 3 out of the first 4 games. Patience is a virtue

Good point, MeShawn. Not to mention, with Rattay's return, their passing game might make a turn for the better, which would open the field a little for Barlow.
