FCC during halftime of MNF

The FCC's comments on high-def TV sounded an awful lot like a sales pitch. Isn't the FCC supposed to be regulating the gargantuan (sp?) media conglomerates, not making a pitch for a new product? Since they're running taxpayer money and everything.

Incidentally, I'm way more offended by Tim MacGraw than I am by Janet Jackson's fake boob.
