What do you expect from Deuce when he returns?

Postby loydchristmas » Tue Oct 05, 2004 12:29 am

I am thinking of trading to get Deuce. Would it be worth it?

The guy has Emmit Smth, Moe Williams and Deuce.

And as you can see i have a few top 15 backs. I could package 2 of them for Deuce. Griffin and S. Davis maybe.

Thanks.

As a Deuce owner myself, I wouldn't deal him until I saw him play a game at least. His value is almost rock bottom right now, so if you're deep at RB, packaging up a few that you won't miss and snagging Deuce might pay off big for the second half of the season. I'm trying to deal for Edge right now so I'll be set for my playoff run with Duece and Edge starting for me in a 12 team league.

You should have gotten Deuce a week or two ago. It'll be exceptionally har to get Deuce now. I traded the bust Barlow for Deuce. I think 2 weeks ago you could have traded Griffin sraight up for Deuce but now it lookshttp like you need to package them up. Right now Deuce is lightly running. They expect him back in a week or 2.

Are you joking? look at your team... you've already got edge, brown, westbrook... not the best RB corps, but definitely a formidable one.

I'd work on upgrading QB before you think about a top-tier RB. Do you play an 6-man or 8-man league?

I agree w/ the cowboy fan. Upgrade your Qb situation. Maybe you can package Vick w/ one of your backs to get an elite QB. How many people at each position do you have to star? I would package Westbrook and Vick for a top 10 QB. or else just straight up Westbrook for a QB.

Its an 8 team league. Im gonan wait and see what Vick does these next 2 or 3 weeks. He has easy matchups.

If i do go for Deuce who should i throw at this guy?

Grifin, an S. Davis or Griffin and Foster or all 3.

Oh yeah, damn this guy has Brady and Green for Qb's.
