What the hell is wrong with Jerry Porter??? I just bought him cheap and am hoping for a turn around inhis season. This guy was supposed to be the real deal adn he isnt even the top wr on his team...... Any insight from the Raider Nation????

Porter took a big shot to the head last week and missed some time. I will say that it's a mess in Oakland right now. You have...

Porter the heir apparent
Rice the vet who still gets PT
Curry who I feel is the most talented but still a bit raw
Gabriel who is the deep threat
Whitted who gets a decent amount of PT

I don't know if any of these guys can be counted on for any consistency. It's the WRBC of the NFL.

i'm only playing him this week because they are going up against indy and will certainly have to throw A LOT, and should be successful if numb nutz collins can get his act together. If I had another decent option I would take it but I don't.

You and me both.....I have CJ on the bye and Boldin isnt back yet....Thats why I trade for him. Take a peek on the WW. I am targeting Evans & Wilford . Both are availbale as free agents...

with porter going up against Indy, I think i like him better than wilford or evans...

but my 3 game rule should apply to porter. He hasn't done much of anything this year.

I am hoping Collins will settle down this week and start throwing the deep ball to Porter. It should be a shootout in Indy and Oakland will have to go to the air......

maybe that was for his whole career? it's healthy to set realisted long term goals...
It doesn't need to be in good taste, so long as it tastes good
