Any news on Chris Chambers?

Postby hellmat » Tue Oct 05, 2004 11:44 pm

I was wondering if he will be able to play this week. Any news out of Miami. He has a tough matchup against New England this week, and might not even be worth starting? Your thoughts?

Here's what I got off of Rotowire. Hope it helps ya out.

Chambers (knee), who missed Sunday's game, is expected to play in Week 5's game against the Patriots, WFTV.com reports.

We'll keep an eye on his status, but assuming that he can play, he'll start and should get enough looks to help out your team, though we don't expect him to go off against the Patriots.

He's expected to return to practice Wednesday. He should be ready to go Sunday but I am not sure how good of a start he is versus N.E.

To you think he is a better option than Reche Caldwell against Jacksonville, or is his injury situation just to risky??

He should be ready to go Sunday. I might be tempted to try Caldwell out in his place, although Chambers could have a decent game at some point... and should. But until he proves it to me, he sits right on the bench where he belongs. It seems Miami's offensive woes have hit everyone except McMichael.
