Chris Simms will take over for Brad Johnson as the Buccaneers' starting quarterback this Sunday.
Coach Gruden has set Simms up for success by giving him his first start at New Orleans. Expect Simms to start the rest of the season and be a slightly average QB2. The lefty showed a lot of promise and accuracy during the preseason. Considering Gruden's history with QBs, Simms has plenty of long-term upside.
The Saints don't have the best D, but I doubt Simms gets any more than 1 TD this week. Still, I dropped the mighty Quinn for him. Add him if you're desparate.
i'm pretty desperate, since i am without a 3rd QB (i play two a week).
But is he the new guy for good or 'just sunday'?
Who should i drop?Week 5: (2-2)
2QB: M Bulger, J Delhomme
3WR: C Johnson, I Bruce, P Price, A Toomer, A Bryant
2RB: J Lewis, F Taylor, T Henry, L Suggs, T Duckett
1WR/TE: A Gates
K: D Akers, K Brown
DEF: NE

Personally, I wouldn't drop any of those guys to pick up Chris Simms, but if you feel you have to, the guy on your list LEAST likely to make you line-up and have a good day is either:
I think that Simms will be a very good QB in this league for a long time. Yes, it will take a little while to get him going, but he has all the tools, he just needs a little more talent around him than what the Bucs have right now.
