I'm going to have to ride the bandwagon and go with the safe pick of Jax -3.

I was tempted to take the under on the Indi/Oakland game, or to take the Pats, even with the major spread (especially if chambers is out!) - but I feel, for the money, Jax -3 is just way too good to pass up. I would take this one up to Jax -6, happily.

My lock is TB/NO under 36 I like TB winning this game and shutting NO down and TB scorign the 17 pts. they will need to win.

I'm gonna double up and put two units on ...
Indy at home -9 vs. Oakland.
I like this one cause nothing special has to happen for Indy to cover. Indy averages 31 and Oakland averages 20, both D's blow to a certain extent ... should be business as usual.
I also like the fact that Indy has got a little momentum built up and can explode in a heartbeat. That seems more likely than the Raiders nutting up and spanking the Colts on the road.

Not only will Miami cover, but they will defeat the Patriots (and no, I am not a Miami homer )

I think this week's lock/upset is in Houston where they plan to open the dome in some bad weather. I think Houston not only covers but wins outright.
