Is Collins worth a second shot

Postby mannubhai » Wed Oct 06, 2004 12:03 pm

After Collins 5 turnover performance against the weak Texan defense, does he deserve another shot against the horrible Colts secondary?

If he deserves another shot, name the best QB (not on a bye week), whom you would bench to start Collins.

I am considering to start Big Ben against Clevland from the waiver wire ahead of Collins. I have Trent Green on a bye week.

Of course he does - with that arm and the young weapons at wideout that he has - without a doubt YES!!

I wouldn't start him this week, but maybe hang on to him. He burned me bad enough so I dropped him.

i would start collins over ben this week.even though i'm hoping roethlisberger plays well again.i think collins will have a bounce back week.

I've said this before in a similar thread. I would wait untill he looked more comfortable in that new offense. until then i would start someone who is safer, big ben has looked good but he's a rookie. I would look for a leftwich or a delhomme first on waivers as other options.

I'd play Collins just because of the matchup... They will be down BIG to Indy and have to air it out to play caychup. I look for him to put up some nice numbers dn a couple tds as well as a couple INTS.
