I am a commish of a dynasty league and b/c of ricky williams retirement.....an owner had to drop him. If he comes back how would you handle it? Give him back (leaning towards), first come/first serve based on waiver priority, or have a drawing of some sort.
Please help....i have a feeling this is gonna cause some problems!
However, if he does come back this year, I say return him to the guy that dropped him. Afterall, that manager had already gotten screwed because of Ricky. The only fair thing is to at least let him salvage what's left of his season.
______________
8 Team Head-to-Head League:
QB: Tom Brady, Brett Favre
WR: Derrick Mason, Santana Moss, Lavernues Coles, Donte' Stallworth, Ashley Lelie
RB: Ahman Green, Domanick Davis, Brian Westbrook, Michael Pittman
TE: Tony Gonzalez, Daniel Graham
K: Jason Elam
DEF: New England, Seattle
I think it's first come, first serve. When he retired, there was a lot of talk about whether he would ever play football again and on a dynasty league you should have enough spots to have held on to him this long.
The manager that dropped Williams only screwed himself. If he was put on waivers awhile ago, than I assume he should be a FA by now. If he is a FA, than by definition, anyone can pick him up. I don't see how the stupidity of someone who would drop Ricky in a dynasty league is reason to break a set of easily understood, very established rules.
Edit: I picked him up in my keeper league this week. I don't feel bad for the guy that dropped him at all. Maybe if he falls out of the playoff race, I'll trade Ricky back over for something that can help me win this year.

Ahhh, then should the whole league go out skipping and picking daisy's toghether under a rainbow? Its a game youre playing, no handouts. Its the owners own dumb decision that got him into this mess. No -babies. Well let em cry, its funnier I guess.
