If he was dropped then Ricky should be a free agent right now. Whoever picks him up gets him. I kept him in my dynasty league for this exact scenario, if that owner did not do the same that's his own fault.

I agree with this. Ricky's owner in our league held on to him, which was probably the smart thing to do. If he dropped him, he should be just like any other free agent.
