Time to part ways with Portis?

Let me say right off the bat that I'm a huge Portis fan- drafted him as a rookie in my league 3 years ago and made out like a bandit. However, we are talking about FF and there's serious dough involved in my league so it's business.

He's played 4 games to date and with the exception of the one long run against the Bucs in the first week- he's averaging around 3.5 yrds a carry- not to mention the 3 fumbles. Now, there's an increasing talk of " Portis doesn't fit the O line's style- he's not the ideal back in Bugel's and Gibbs' system".

I'm thinking of offering up Portis for Randy Moss- I'd still have C Mart and C Brown. Your thoughts? Moss would join TO in my front line.

i was about to draft portis three years ago....then the guy sitting next to me said..."you don't need a backup rb this early in the draft take a kicker!"...then this bastard picked PORTIS with his next pick...son of a BIATCH!

So i drafted...i have absolutely no idea....What i LOUDLY remember is that i could have drafted Portis.....and not came in 3rd place that year

IMO, thats hard to pass up. Having Moss and TO would be deadly. You know Moss already produces. Portis has produced in the past and should be producing now but he isnt. If the guy wants to make the trade, I would do it.

At this point I'm not sure you could get Moss for Portis. Portis' value is low right now.

I don't think the majority of Moss owners would make that trade, but if you can get it, then do it for sure...

Martin and Brown are suitable backs, and T.O. and Moss would make for a deadly WR duo....

I have Portis and I would trade him for Moss if the other team would do it.
