What is Westbrooks Value????

Postby Lightzout36 » Thu Oct 07, 2004 8:56 pm

Is there any players off the top of your head I could get for him. What WR is equal to him?

That's a tough call, in part because Westbrook just hasn't found the end zone. Because I personally value starting RB's more than WR's, and because Westbrook has a lot of job security, I'd equate him with someone like Chad Johnson (who's having his own troubles finding the end zone). Maybe also Hines Ward and Joe Horn.

Others might disagree.

I don't think he's worth as much as the next tier of guys (i.e., Harrison, Moss, Owens, or Holt).

This valuation might be different if he were punching it into the end zone.

I think you got a really good deal (without knowing the rest of your roster or your scoring system).

I'd say his value is close to a Joe Horn or Eric Moulds....

Thats a steal, barring injury Westbrook is a solid #2 RB and at times a #1...when he finds the end zone...which he will.

I like Westbrook a lot. My other 2 RBs are Tomlinson & Barlow, so it's nice to have a guy on a high-scoring balanced offense. I think that Westbrook's value is higher in keeper leagues, I'd say anyone is fair game besides the top 3 WRs & the top 2-3 QBs.
Praise Ricky!
