Bears' left guard Ruben Brown will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Friday to have loose cartilage removed from his left knee. Head coach Lovie Smith told the Chicago Sun-Times that he expects Brown to miss two-to-four weeks.
Our View
Thomas Jones' fantasy value takes another hit! Center Olin Kreutz had surgery on his right elbow Monday, but is hopeful of returning in time for their week-six game against the Redskins. If not, the Bears will be without two starting linemen. For what it's worth, guard Rex Tucker is expected to return to practice on Monday after missing the first four games of the season because of a dislocated elbow
