I simply LOVE the alternate jerseys...wish the Steelers would participate in this.

Third jersey: Teams across the league were recently advised by the NFL they could wear a third jersey for two games this season — teams had been told an alternate jersey could only be worn for one game — and the Titans have added a second game for their alternate jersey.

The team has turned in two dates for its third jersey — primarily Columbia blue with navy on the shoulders and white numerals, a nod to the Oilers' light-blue uniforms.

The first was the regular-season opener Sept. 7 against the Oakland Raiders. The recently added game is Oct. 12 against the Houston Texans.

The Titans have worn just two jersey designs since making a uniform change before the 1999 season.

They have typically worn dark blue jerseys at home and white jerseys on the road.
