I'd be more worried about Bennett then Holmes right now, but Zombiez is right: Kansas City isn't releasing a whole lot of useful information on Holmes...

Vikings' Bennett might miss start of camp
Pioneer Press

Vikings running back Michael Bennett might not be healthy enough to practice when training camp opens on July 26.

Bennett, recovering from left foot surgery last spring, has complained recently of soreness in the foot, according to two sources close to the situation who don't believe the absence would be prolonged. He continues to work out daily at Winter Park and is being closely monitored by the training staff.

Bennett suffered the injury in March, when his left foot came down awkwardly while he ran on a treadmill at the team's headquarters. He had surgery a few weeks later.

Piece-Of-Advice #182:
Never. EVER. Believe one word you hear about an injured player coming out of a coach's mouth - or his team's front office.
Ever.

I consider ANY RB coming back from a major injury a bust.
I never take a player like this as my 1st round pick - and I don't care who it is, or what they did in the past.
How many owner's seasons did, say, for instance, Terrell Davis ruin just a few years ago?
You see it happen all the time.
With a RB, it seems like once the wheels come off, they stay off.
There's exceptions like, say, Jamal Lewis (the miracle exception that proves the rule), but I never pin my season hopes on one of these guys.
This year: that includes Priest Holmes, Marshall Faulk and Edgerrin James.
Sometimes you lose, but more often than not, you don't.
Let someone else lose their 1st-round pick week 3!

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports Vikings' running back Michael Bennett may not be healthy enough to practice when training camp opens on July 26. Bennett underwent surgery this offseason to repair a Jones fracture in his left foot and has complained recently about soreness in the foot, according to unnamed sources close to the situation. He is working out daily at Vikings' Winter Park headquarters and is being closely monitored by trainers. Bennett suffered the injury while running on a treadmill in March.

Our View
This is the first that we've heard about Bennett not being ready for camp. When he first injured his foot, it was believed that he would be ready in time, so not much attention was paid to the fracture. Now that it looks like the recovery could linger into August, fantasy players have to be a little concerned. We're not ready to start dropping Bennett down our cheat sheets, but we'll be keeping close tabs on him and pass along further updates as they become available.
