Panthers running back Stephen Davis is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos. He had surgery to clean out torn cartilage from his right knee on September 17 and returned to practice this week. DeShaun Foster will start.

Davis was spouting off this week about returning for this game, but it looks like he was just blowing smoke. Fantasy owners can safely start Foster, and we'll have to address the potential committee once again next week.

I just read the same thing. Thank you Fanball! So I quickly plugged Foster in to start, even though Denver's defense is going to be tough for him. Oh well, I'm playing Denver's D, too.

Sure would like to hear more about S. Davis's issues.

I had a flex I could have filled with Foster, Davis or Griffin at the RB spot...and I decided to leave all the headaches behind and did a gutcheck with starting Isaac Bruce.

He hasn't done crap yet, but at least he's playing.

Poor SD, he talked so much about returning to action as quickly as possible. You can see the fire and determination Davis has as far as coming back is concerned, he knows Foster is a threat.
