It's also a team effort for me: Edge, Brown, and definitely Mr. Antonio Gates.

With those guys, and the rest of my team, I was able to beat my oppenent by 20 points, and also score a league high of 125 points. I was worried as he had Daunte scoring 1/3 of his points, but my guys came through! ;-D

Gates. Got me 16 pts in our scoring system and I won by 14.

Honorable mention to Wayne for finding the end zone.

A Johnson the real deal

Postby spodog » Tue Oct 12, 2004 5:46 pm

Definitely Andre "the Giant".

This guy can leap over d-backs in a single bound and should be wearing an S on his chest for the catches he made against MIN and against KC a few weeks back.

Unbelievable. Only worry he will land on his skull shortly and break his neck. He has no fear.

Game Ball - Week 5 - Andre Johnson.

I had Culpepper, E Johnson, and A Johnson. Game balls all around. Carr, Burress, D Jackson, and J Smith on my bench. My team when off big time.

Lee Evans

Postby DraftDodger » Tue Oct 12, 2004 6:54 pm

Okay, normally I don't get all that excited over a guy who only has one catch, but this is how things played out:

I needed a WR BAD in one of my leagues, going up against a friend. I read all the dope on the few promising ones that were available, and none of it was all that encouraging. I ended up saying, "What the heck, let's give this Evans guy a shot," and I plugged him in.

During the games, my friend is comparing our rosters, and I hear, "Hey, who's this Evans guy?"

About five seconds later, Evans caught the TD, which ended up deciding our matchup in my favor.

Thank you Lee!
