LaDainian Tomlinson: Leaves Sunday's Game Early

Update: Tomlinson limped off the field late in the third quarter of Sunday's game and the Chargers announced in the press box during San Diego's next series that their star RB was being rested, the Associated Press reports.

Recommendation: Tomlinson watched the rest of the game from the sideline after gaining 56 yards on 19 carries, and catching four passes for 78 yards. We'll give you more on the nature and severity of his injury as soon as we know it, but LT's owners will have to hope that this is nothing major. Stay tuned.

Chargers - RB Chatman Gains 100 Yards In Relief Effort
Backup RB Jesse Chatman got his chance to shine today as the Chargers decided to give starting RB LaDainian Tomlinson a rest in the second half versus the Jaguars. Chatman carried the ball just 11 times for 103 yards and a score. To clarify, Tomlinson was just being rested, he did limp off the field with an apparent ankle injury, all reports confirm it was nothing serious.

LT's fine. He strained his groin in last week's game, and since the Bolts had a nice little lead, they decided to give LT a rest. Smart decision.
