The "Hindsight is 20/20" maneuvers of the week...

Postby mad benjamin » Sun Oct 10, 2004 9:50 pm

If I knew then what I know today, I'd have picked up Droughns off waivers instead of Vanderjagt. That was probably my bone-headed (and everyone else's) maneuver.

I'd have started Plax (who knew?)

I'd have benched Henry and started Pinner (again, who knew?)

Can't complain too hard. I whomped my opponent pretty good.

Any other "hindsight" non-moves?

It's going to be really hard for McNair to play bad enough to justify me benching him in favor of Vick...

Had Burress on my bench, Gardner in my lineup. :*)

I would have started Plaxico over A. Toomer...

I wouldn't have listened to the CBS Sportsline site telling me that S. Davis was going to start and that Foster was only looking at maybe 10 carries. Well, the latter came true (sorry Foster) but Davis wasn't even dressed to play.

And what about Duece McAllister, when did he decide to come back and run for over 100 yards this week???

Oh well, I'm 0-5 now but with Davis, McAllister, and Q. Griff coming back, maybe things will turn around... I think I'll drop Pittman and get Droughns as insurance...

Yeah, I was so close to picking up Droughns and benching Jimmy Smith. However, I did pick up Droughns after a couple of Denver series. Just didn't gett to play him.

Picked up Droughns but didn't have to play him since Davis was so sure he would be starting...DOAH!
