Yeah I'm definitely going to try to trade him. I'd like to trade him as well as a decent WR for a stud RB who has under performed so far, someone like Ahman, Deuce or Fred Taylor.

Definitely cant trade him, so I gotta bench him. He had his chance against ok run defenses like St Louis and the Cardinals in which he totally sucked. They were playing from behind which didnt help, but still, the O line isnt that great. Maybe if Rattay can find some rhythm and give some respect to the passing game, Barlow could be ok.

But trade him? For who?

News and notes basically say he's going to suck all year, because SF is going to be behind alot.

Maybe get a 2nd level WR, that's about it.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I think SF's coach is intentionally NOT using Barlow (and thus bringing down KB's pts). My only theory is that he's trying to force the wide outs into maturity and thus expand the offensive capabilities of SF. Which *may* be working, given yesterdays game.

Anyways, yeah, I have Barlow too, and I'm gonna hold onto him at this point.

First off I think Dennis Erickson is not that great of a NFL Head Coach. This in itself is enough reason to hold back the the potential of someone like Barlow. Plus there O-Line is pretty bad.

The one stat that got me above all else this past sunday was the fact that Rattay attempted 57 passes. Where the total of rush attempts was 19. When you only run 25% of the time it is bad, whether you are playing from behind or not.

At one point they pulled Barlow due to "performance" reasons and Roberston fumbled twice.

Personally I am going to hold on to Barlow and hope the Erickson gets his head out of his *** and starts mixing things up. But seeing as Peterson is gone for the season it probably will not happen, since they will be playing from behind even more.

What totally stunned me was Rattay throwing passes at the 1 yard line. WTF?

The subject holds the reason for the one yard line passes. I think he wants to pad Rattay's stats to show that Garcia was dispensable.

Is it a contract year for Barlow?
