Carr the next Favre?

Postby FattyMcButterPants » Mon Oct 11, 2004 10:44 am

After watching Carr for the last couple of weeks to me he shows Stud potential. He is very tough and even though he is beat up he still makes amazing throws. Put that with his great recievers (Andre Johnson, and Derrick Armstrong) and I have the feeling that he will lead the Texans to the Super Bowl in the next couple of years.

I wouldn't go as far as to say he's going to the Bowl in the next few years... but definitely within his time as a Texan, they'll go. That's why they drafted him first overall... usually when one goes first pick, first round, they have stud potential.

Just like Tim Couch (though I still think he might work in a new system)(but evidently not the Packers).

Carr is finally developing (having an actual O-line helps with that), but he's no Brett Favre. Favre is one of the most incredible athletes this game has ever seen. Carr will definitely make a run at the Superbowl sometime, but he's in what looks to be the toughest division in the entire NFL, so that will make it

Yeah Carr has a bright future ahead of him and look farther along than Harrington. I believe they stated yesterday that he has the best QB rating in the 4th quarter. Unless the Texans improve their defense they will not even be making the playoffs soon!
