Who is Derick Armstrong?

Did anyone watch the Texans game yesterday? Coming into the game he was already averaging 15 ypc. He had 6 rec for 101 yards and 1td yesterday. Sounds like he is a big guy, too. 6'2 200 lbs., anyone know if he has any speed or if he will make an impact this year? I know they have Gaffney, but any chance this guy could be the #2?

He could very well take over as a #2 WR. He's got more sure hands than anyone else on the team besides, Johnson and Davis.

he has a great ypc average. does anyone else know anything about this guy? does he have any speed? did anyone see him play?

I only saw highlights of him, but from looks alone he is in the same type of mold as Andre Johnson - fairly big guy who can leap up to get the ball at its highest point. He's had three decent games, and he finally scored in the last game. I'd keep an eye on him...he could end up being the #2 receiver that Houston sorely needs to compliment AJ. This could also help David Carr (although he's doing a pretty good job right now - I believe he's thrown for over 250 yards in all 5 games! )
